Native Pecans are smaller in size but have excellent taste. Shells are easy to remove but will take more time than the larger Pecans. Typically you will have about 2.2LBs of pecan halves after removing the shells.
Please note all Cracked Pecans are weighed Pre-cracked. Actual weight will be about 4.5LBs per 5LB bag.
About 15% of overall weight is blown off by the Quantz rotary cracker. Our large aspirator system suctions off a portion of the shells and dust to a central collector. Resulting in cleaner pecans for you!
