Pecans maintain EXCELLENT quality when stored in the freezer (3+ years) or refrigerator (6+ months). Grocery stores pecans are kept at room temperature which will greatly reduce pecan freshness and taste, these will go bad after a few months. Avoid those poor quality pecans and purchase fresh during the Winter season or Fresh Frozen all year round. Shipping Costs are determined by weight. We ship using UPS typically. Most orders are sent out next day with Tracking# emailed.
Our fresh pecans will be shipped in paper bags which allows the pecans to breathe and allows oils to release. If these were put in plastic bags due to freshness (not overly dried tasteless pecans) they could mold.
